We have all heard the stories of the accidental project manager. Hell, you may have even been one. When I got my job at Hewlett Packard, I wasn’t a certified project manager, but I asked for, and they paid for, my Master’s Certificate in Project Management, my Advanced Master’s Certificate in Project Management, and my PMP training and certification. In a matter of just a few years, I became the go-to project manager for every tough project. I was even flying all over the world.
