Excuse Culture
We have become a culture of excuses and frankly, it’s bullshit. People don’t want to work today. They just want a paycheck. It is becoming purely communist thinking. They pretend to pay us, so we pretend to work. Coming from a military family who also owned our own business, this does not align with my value system. What happened to taking care of the customer? What happened to pride in your work? We discussed that here today and, yes, I know the lighting is dark. You know why? Because it was night and I still needed to post without excuses. It is 4 am as I write this.
