Project Charter and Operating Plan (POP)
It has come to my attnetion that over the last 14 years I have failed to talk about the project charter and operating plan (POP). I guess this was such a basic concept for me, I looked over it, which is stupid on my part. However, due to some recent difficulties in not understanding the whole purpose of these two documents, I decided to cover it in further detail. I hope this clears up some issues for many people and allows you to better move your projects forward. These do not have to be difficult and are two of the most important tools of any project. What do we want to do and how are we going to do it?
